We help businesses get
found by AI
Google was the front door for 25 years. AI is the new one. Cited by AI exists to make sure your business is on the right side of that shift — recommended, cited, and trusted by the engines your customers are already using.
The moment I knew something had changed.
I'm Tay, founder of Tay Design Co. — a design, digital strategy, and GEO studio helping service businesses earn authority in AI search. I built Cited by AI because I kept seeing strong brands go invisible in AI-generated answers.
One of my best clients had everything working on paper: a strong website, good reviews, and page-one rankings. But the leads slowed down. Not gradually. Suddenly.
I dug in and found the problem: her customers had stopped searching Google altogether. They were asking ChatGPT instead — and ChatGPT was recommending her competitor.
I started testing every client.
That night, I typed real prompts into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — the same questions a potential customer would ask.
The results were brutal. Clients I'd spent months building brands for — invisible. AI engines were recommending businesses with worse websites and weaker brands. But those businesses had the right signals for AI to pick up on.
No tool existed to fix this.
I looked everywhere. Plenty of SEO tools. A few AI-adjacent products that tracked "mentions." But nothing that did what I needed: test real prompts across multiple AI engines, score visibility across specific dimensions, and tell me exactly what to change.
So I started doing it manually. Spreadsheets. Screenshots. Prompt logs. I'd test a client across five engines, record every response, compare them to competitors, identify patterns.
It worked. When I made the changes the data told me to make — adding specific schema markup, restructuring content for AI parsing, building entity clarity — clients started showing up in AI answers within weeks.
The manual process became a system.
The system became a platform.
That platform is Cited by AI.
From my clients to your business.
I built Cited by AI for my own studio first. It's how we monitor, audit, and improve AI visibility for every Tay Design Co. client. When I realized this wasn't just a "nice to have" — that this was going to matter for every service business within a year — I turned it into a platform anyone could use.
But I didn't want to build another tool that spits out a score and leaves you alone with it. I've been on the receiving end of those reports. A number without context is useless.
Every Cited by AI report is read by a real person. Every strategy comes with specific next steps. Every CMO Partnership comes with me — or someone from my team — actually doing the work alongside you.
Things we won't compromise on.
A human reads every report.
Automated scores are a starting point, not a deliverable. Someone on our team reads your data, understands your business, and writes specific recommendations before anything gets sent.
We tell you what to do, not just what's wrong.
A gap analysis without a fix is just bad news. Every finding comes with the exact change to make — down to the line of code, the paragraph to rewrite, the schema to add.
We test across 5 engines, not just one.
Your customers don't all use ChatGPT. We monitor ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews — because visibility on one platform means nothing if you're invisible on the other four.
We don't do vague.
No "improve your online presence." No "optimize your content strategy." We name the specific prompt, the specific engine, the specific competitor, and the specific fix.
